Family

After flying to Auckland last night we all got up early and headed north to the Bay of Islands (BOI). 3 hours drive and a ferry ride and we arrived, and started loading up the boat.

We headed out to a bay where we were the only boat anchored, very cool. We fished, went ashore, had an early night. Got some great sunset and boating shots, but for me this shot really sums up the day. Grandpa Dave and the kids.

Unfortunately the night had a hiccup ... The holding tank overflowed into the bilge and there was rather foul smell boat. I slept in the bridge, as far away as I could ...
