Equality Card

I received a happy holiday 2012 card from the Human Rights campaign today...so I've incorporated it into a little blip here. Inside the square card are cars with "just married" signs. On the licence plates are the states that have just passed marriage equality---Maine, Maryland and my state of Washington. Others that already had marriage equality are named on the plates at the bottom. Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Iowa, New Hampshire, District of Columbia, and New York. 15.8 % of Americans now live in states with Marriage Equality! There is still much work to be done...but 2012 has been a year of many possibilities and hope for equality!
