Tree Face

What a bizarre find. We took a long walk at Minto Brown today, first a good trip around the dog park for Kirb, then we hoofed it around the miles of paths. It was the strangest thing; I looked up, and there this little critter was, nailed (I think) to this cottonwood tree. It's hard to believe that I even saw it; it's only about two inches in size, and it was about 10 feet off of the path. What in the world is the story behind this thing? Pretty creepy.
