Nice of this Sand Martin to land just ahead of us walking back from the Hopes Reservoir loop. I'd have used one of the little Red Grouse chicks we saw while heading round (there were loads), but for the fact they're there for the simple purpose of being raised for a load of merchant bankers and the like to shoot for fun (from some very new gun butts that have been erected on the hill higher than the current ones - MOAR GUNS!).
