Walking Day

Our annual Walking Day. We have been keeping an eye on the weather all week. Thankfully it was mostly kind to us and we only had one small shower. There has been a lot of talk recently about how wet last years was! 

Once more approx 800 in church for the short service, mainly children. Plenty more lined the streets to watch, although not quite as many as usual due to the weather. The event went without any hitch and was enjoyed by all. 

After we finish the fair continues in the village. Unfortunately I understand there was some trouble later and the police had to be called. It is unfortunate that some spoil it for the majority.
