Heading for the Tower

The two peregrine chicks on the tower nest are growing fast and have been ringed and named, Max and Maxine by the Young Friends of Tewkesbury Abbey. The Extra is Maxine on the edge of the tray. I know it is her as she is the larger of the two.

This is mum who we now know isn't Bella, the same female as last year, as she still has some of her juvenile plumage making her only two years old. She is now known as Bellatrix as they were tricked into thinking she was Bella for a time. Yes really! Is there no limit to the imagination they are showing for the names!
