Lunch in the rain

Before I got anywhere near lunch it was a super early start dropping Daisy to her 6:25 train to the Bristol open day. Then back to bed for a couple of hours. The second rising was more interesting, Benelia and I went for our first swimming lesson. I want to learn how to swim more than one length front crawl without fainting through lack of oxygen. I have new things to practice , it turns out my legs are an issue. And Benelia has a tidy breast stroke, I need to work harder next time to get teacher compliments.

Quick turn around to the country club for a spa day, my mums retirement gift from work. A facial that was about 50% too long, a great lunch in the increasing rain with goodly catch ups and planning, a pedicure, a sit in the very oddest ‘relaxation’ room then home for catch ups with everyone.

Daisy got v wet and is v tired after her day out. On the Bristol plus side is the four floor primark with Costa, on the negative- the hills. You’ve got to start somewhere.....
