Walking in the rain

Today's been one of those annoying days when nothing goes to plan.

I walked into town when Winchestival was supposed to be opening its gates, to see if there might be any interesting festival-goers.  But no, too early perhaps.  So I did what jobs I needed to and waited for them to emerge.  They didn't.  It began raining. I wandered into the Outer Close where there was a classic car event, but the rain got heavier and the cars were parked under dark trees to ensure they were not only wet but mostly invisible.

Never mind, as I was walking back up the High Street, this lovely girl rescued a wilting blipper, so I'm sharing her smile for today.
