Nearly there!

My Puss moth larvae are starting to pupate - thank goodness! They are eating about half a sallow tree a day at the moment!
I thought I would blip this one for you to show the dramatic colour change that happens just before they pupate. This one will now chew up wood to make a very strong cocoon on the branches of the tree, to keep it safe through the winter until it emerges next spring.
