Modern life is rubbish

All the hippies trying to change the world, then the punks doing the same, your grandads fighting in the Second World War to enable the world to be a better place.
All the freedoms that came our way , albeit slowly, over the few decades after that.
Sometimes it seems all for nothing.
The utter rubbish the world has to put up with nowadays. The hate, the media supported lies, the racism that we thought we had generally hit the better of. The list is endless.
The leaders of certain countries going headless and selfishly about their lives not caring that they were voted in to help their citizens, not solely big business, certainly not their political parties.
