Things to be thankful for

Purple Fridays are the busiest days on my two week timetable but today has been made bearable by a few factors. Most of Y11 finished their exams with Physics today and I had flowers and chocolates from two of the lovely ones. And two notes in my tray at the end of the day, one of which started with the classic phrase 'I know I am a little s**t at times...' It made me laugh out loud when I read it - no mean feat on a Purple Friday. 

And the day was lengthened by an invite to a pop-up restaurant run by a former student who has worked so patiently with a group of Y10 students. Lovely food and a great opportunity for them all was definitely worth an extension to the week.
