Delphinium

My Mom's mom, my maternal grandmother who died early at age 54 so I never met her, loved growing delphiniums in her garden.  My mom talked about this and so I began growing them in mine.  This year some lovely ones bloomed once again.  When my son got married delphiniums were included in the bridal bouquet in my maternal grandmother's honor along with some other flowers.  My son's boutineer was one.  So today, the day after my mom would have had her 101st birthday, I decided to post a delphiium.
