Remembering

…………….all those who lost their lives in the D Day landings. My youngest granddaughter Charlotte is in France with the school for the week visiting the Normandy Beaches, Mont St Michel and Paris. It seems they have had a wonderful time, all 60 of them, poor teachers!! This is the memorial to Theodore Roosevelt Jr the eldest son of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery on D-Day.
