Green is the colour

As l walked through the organic garden l was visiting at lunchtime l suddenly spotted these beautiful jewel like beetles having a fine time on the top of these teucrium plants.  I don't remember seeing one before and they are glorious!!  Having done a little research l think they are are Green Dock Beetles and very widespread in the UK. Just lovely... l wish them well!!

Happy Friday all... ps l saw the first blue sky for 5 days today and it made me smile... also... l drove on dry roads.. hahaha!!!  'bout time too!!!!!!
