Feet up!
It’s always quite an exhausting day when we have to drive to Sydney and back in the one day. Driving on the freeway is not a lot of fun and I realise that it’s quite and intense couple of hours of concentration. Our trip down to the “Big Smoke” today was helped a lot as we listened to the Memorial Service for Bob Hawke, the 23rd Prime Minister of Australia. It was being held at the Sydney Opera House in the Concert Hall.
We arrived home quite late in the afternoon and it was straight in to make a hot cup of tea and put the feet up. After a consult with CCN’s Neurologist it’s always nice to have something light hearted to watch so it was last night’s taping of Britains Got Talent. We both find the show quite uplifting. I really love the judges, they make it for me. I can’t believe the courage that some people have to muster to go on that show and some of the acts are terrible. But then there are the inspirational ones and the BGT allows them to showcase their talent to the world. Imagine a world without Susan Boyle!!
