Sunday

The day started off sunny and dry which was a good thing because I had been invited to lunch at a friend’s from church. Several of us enjoyed her scrumptious cooking while sitting outside enjoying the sun and warmth and conversation. My friend is a keen gardener and sent me home with both tomato plants and a cucumber plant. It started to get a bit wet later on today, but I got them planted up in pots just before the rain came, as well as some geraniums I’d recently bought but not planted out yet. I have more geraniums to plant tomorrow if I get a chance with the heavy rain that is predicted all week!
