Coal Tit - Periparus ater

Coal tits are always on the move. They just won't wait while the camera's focus hones in on them. Even on the feeder, they grab a morsel and immediately flee to stash it somewhere.

I have been trying to get birds looking more natural perched on branches rather than on the table or hanging feeder. That was fairly easy with most of the common visitors but the coal tit has generally comes out blurred (or missing!). They tend to use the near branches more like a gymnast uses a springboard. Today's blip is the best coal tit that I have I have managed over three weeks of trying every few days or so.
