The Aire is escaping its usual channel a little in Roberts Park, providing a handy paddling pool for the resident Canadians.

I’d been watching 11yo in an RSC Education production of Romeo and Juliet staged in the top floor of Salts Mill. Five or six schools from Bradford contributed, and a slightly edited version of the play had been chunked out between them, so that every couple of scenes the cast changed.

11yo and her classmates kicked things off with some nicely choreographed posturing between Capulets v Montagues. She had one small scene as Benvolio with her and one other. They’re certainly cramming a lot of experiences into her last year in primary school.
