Eden

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Eden Project. This was the main reason behind my trip and it met my expectations in full, well maybe apart from the weather. Even that wasn't as bad as forecast.

Got the bus over from St Austell in the morning and spent the day here, first in the tropical Rainforest Biome and later in the Mediterranean Biome, which was remarkably cool in contrast! That took a few hours as there was so much to see and take in (and photograph!) and then I had an enjoyable couple of hours wandering through the rest of the site and generally admiring the work that has gone into this amazing attraction.

Arriving back in St Austell around 4:30pm gave me the opportunity of another bus trip on my 2-day pass: jumped on a service bus to Mevagissey, had a wee wander round (see extra), a bar supper then the bus back. The weather never did pick up, but neither was it too wet.

And that was Cornwall. The journey home starts tomorrow. The sorting of the photos may take a little longer!
