These sparrows are holding on to the straws in a wind gust. One more stormy afternoon. The beaches were under yellow flag from early in the morning, but set to red flags before noon. I think this must be third or fourth day in a row that the wind is nearly insane.

We started our day the water company and were very delighted that the clerk wanted to speak English and suggested it to us. Because there were some hiccups and I do not wanna get into those, but now we should be set.

The only thing is that the builder has told us that they will cut us off water on 21st and the water company will be installing the water meters on 25th. They did say we'll have water until then, but this being Spain, I do not really believe that in full. We will see. Also on Monday our water will be cut due to work in the area, just by a coincidence from 8 to 3pm.

We also posted a letter to the insurance company to hopefully finally be rid of them. We cancelled our insurance with them (remember all the letters that we had to register at the post office and all that...). Then they send us a letter thanking us of choosing them again. Then they needed to be reminded that they have received a registered letter of cancellation from us. Then they send a letter for us to sign and send back to cancel the insurance we had already cancelled. Simple huh? Never!

I'm so tired of all these matters that we have been handling lately. I have not even mentioned all of them.

Our Barcelonian neighbors have finally managed the renovations to the point that they now are getting furniture. But again some drilling disturbing us for who knows how long. I just hope the furniture will muffle some of the sounds for us.
