You just have to.......

.....visit a Scotch Whisky distillery! When in Scotland, a distillery visit is mandatory!!! This one is Deanston Distillery, near Doune, just about 20 minutes away from Stirling. It was an excellent tour, very informative, and the tasting was pretty good too! The bonded warehouse where the casks of Whisky are stored and matured was an amazing building, the ceiling was arched - I've put it in as an extra.
I have a bottle of 12 year old malt to take home :-)
We travelled through Dunblane on the way to the distillery - a notice on the road into the town asked drivers to be aware of an oyster-catcher and chicks, bit strange, we thought - and then spotted an oyster-catcher sitting on her nest, right in the middle of a roundabout! Something of an exhibitionist I thought!
The weather remains dry with quite a lot of sunshine - so far, so good! Tomorrow we're moving on from Crianlarich - to Aviemore.
