Detours in France (deviation) are often long. So it was that we had to go 20 kilometres off piste on twisty roads because Caussade is having a fair. Still we arrived in Gaillac in time to visit some vineyards, tasting and buying. Staying in a lovely chambre d’hote and walking out to dinner in a nearby restaurant. Well, someone has to do it!
