1692. Frederiksborg Castle, Hillerød

We visited this amazing castle this morning and had a wonderful time there...it was beautiful....marred only by the £80 parking fine we received because we didn’t know we had to pay for the car park! As we have a hire car we’ve paid it but let them know it seems a bit unfair that as foreigners we can’t read Danish signs! We didn’t even see the ticket machines until we returned to the car....oh well lesson learned...translate all notices on Google next time!
