Primula scotica

We went up to the allotment and had at least 15 minutes there before it started raining. Did as much as we could in the circs. Noticed that this delightful little Primula scotica was flowering already. When Ogatodomar saw it he said he's only ever seen it at Yesnaby Head on Orkney  - ours was one that had been raised in captivity which we'd bought last week at Dawyck.

I then walked along the cycle path to Hibs' stadium, where our students were sitting their exam in the conference suite. I was by then extremely wet as well as a bit muddy. Shandonner and I met the studes and ushered them to the Mash Tun on Easter Rd where they were able to calm down and tell us that it hadn't been too bad after all!
