Geurilla Garden Site

This old building is not lived in and a few years ago I asked the city if I could make a garden behind it. They said yes. :) It has been really nice to have a place to shut off stresses and be with nature while I create a little garden scene here.

Over the winter though the bricks started falling off the top so one area I have to be careful of now.

Some of the plants are rescued from the city's compost dump. The most recent find that delights me very much is a white and purple Japanese iris. I don't know what color some things are when I rescue them and am surprised when they bloom. Fun!
