Long journey to Edinburgh. Started well but over head lines down after Carlisle. Very slow train and then mad dash at Warrington to change trains. Train finished at Carlisle and we all got in taxis to Glasgow and then train to Edinburgh. Arrived about 3 hours late! Was dealt efficiently and politely by network Rail and the staff at the stations and on the trains. They must have had an awful day. Raining heavily when I arrived at Ds and no blip so this is view from bedroom window
