Young Couple Moving In
'Y' is for Young! ;-)
We heard a very loud bird call yesterday, I was sure I heard it before, when I took Blipwalks in our complex, but Ronnie sr couldn't identify the call and he is so good with bird sounds!? When they walked out to listen, they saw these 2 beauties, The Woodland Kingfisher (Halcyon senegalensis) is a tree kingfisher investigating the possibility to make their nest underneath our roof! Whoohoo!! Needless to say, they were scared away by me, appearing at the door with my camera.
Charmaine was fortunate enough to 'catch' them when they returned this morning! It was quite difficult to catch the two in one picture, the pic in the right hand side of the screen was the only one out of quite a few, that came out almost perfectly clear, but I just had to show the pic on the left side as well, isn't he just toooo beautiful for words!?
We spent the day with beloved family, Jopie and Bessie with their eldest daughter Adelle, her hubby Reuben, and their three beautiful kiddies! What a lovely afternoon with lovely company! Thank you dear Lord for the privilege to enjoy quality time with loved ones!! We will most probably, weather permits, spend the day on the dam on our boat with them Saturday as well! Looking forward to that!! Whoohoo!! ;-)
I am quite tired now, off to bed early tonight!! Hehehe!!
LuvUAll!
