Breakfast with Gloria

Overnight to Shetland and straight off the boat to meet J for breakfast at 8am at the Mart cafe.

We were really too early, (again), but Gloria took pity on the 2 faces at her window and invited us in.

J had a bacon roll. For me, coffee and a crofter's- size piece of millionaire shortbread: a buttery, crumbly base, extra thick toffee and a thin layer of chocolate on top. The best in town and essential preparation for a day's work after a night on the boat.
