Monsoon!

Sunny this morning, rain all afternoon and into this evening... and about 45 minutes of such heavy rain that the road became a river, the driveway a lake and the soakaway drain just by the back door overflowed and started to flood the patio.

I thought it was time to dig the water pump out of the shed but it subsided again.

The train tracks got flooded so N spent over an hour at a standstill on his way home, just outside our station. Frustrating.
