Better than expected

Weather forecast was awful but it was actually a reasonably good day so we walked down into Lauterbrunnen then walked up an extremely steep path to Murren. We bought a few provisions at great expense in Murren, then treated ourselves to a beer and caught the cable car down again but then had to walk from the cable car station back to the campsite . So all that, I'm informed came to 8 miles with 854 metres of ascent. Not too bad considering we were only going to go for a short stroll!

The extra, lots of people hurling themselves off cliffs today with only a bit of rope and nylon to keep them up.
