The teachers house

This is Luvuwu, where last Easter we helped the local community build a three classroon school in two weeks, well were back again and this time its the teachers house.
Recently we decided that more important than the school is a house for a teacher. A good teacher can teach anywhere.
This house has been built by the community for Mr Williams who is their excellent teacher of standard 8, the highest class at primary level.
As a result of the new building the minstry of education granted the school the status of a full primary school, up to standard 8.
Our hope is that as well as enabling Mr Williams to live beside the school, the new house, with the metal roof, windows and a concrete floor will add a little status as well.
By the way Mr Williams has 48 students in his class and hopefully some students will qualify for secondary school, the first ever from this area!!
