Delicate rain...

..We lit the fire (again) last night, just like it was Christmas.
In fairness, it was a 'cosy-in' night.

'Root'?
That's an ok word isn't it? (It brings to mind the parsing of verbs, horseradish, the snuffling of porcine creatures, and possibly.. Left field here... Evil?).

'Canal'?
Another ok word. Minding its own business. (Barges, horses, narrowboats? Swans? Thomas Telford perhaps, with his red front door overlooking his lovely Pontcysyllte aqueduct... Possibly 'Suez'... Maybe 'Crisis'??).

We used to play the above game and call it 'Word Association Football' (for obvious reasons... Where you take it in turns to say the next connected word). In the days before the internet entertained us with a new brand of garbage :-)

Anyway.
You put them together, and whaddya get?
Pain :-/

And the need of a comfy fire, a warm drink and some comics?
