Bracket Fungus

No rain this morning so I took the opportunity to go over the back and through the woods to see if there was much damage after the rain and wind, but all seemed ok.

The grasses in the parkland were weighed down with raindrops and I took a few pictures to play with later, but I was impressed with the sudden appearance of the Polyporus squamosus, better known as Dryad's Saddle (or so it tells me in my Natural History book).

Apparently pictures are flying off the walls at our exhibition and they're asking for more to be displayed.  I think I can scrape together another three.
