Divided opinions

Today has been interesting, firstly we were not skiing in France (a slight geographical error by me)... we were in Sestriere which is in Italy!

Secondly the sun did NOT shine today instead we had snow, blizzards and freezing fog.... not very nice for most. However this had a certain appeal and novelty factor to me.... as I've never skied in these conditions before (and actually would ski in them again... fun, fear and adventure.. bring it on!)

Thirdly we spent most of the day unclear as to where we were and struggled to reach certain places due to lift closures. This meant 'some' off piste skiing, another novel experience for me and lovely virgin deep snow.....

Hence divided opinions by our group due to pistes closures and inclement weather and potential dangerous skiing conditions.
