Waiting for scraps

Today’s jobs were varnishing the new handrails on the staircase, cleaning tops of kitchen cupboards, bedroom cupboards cleaned out and stuff set aside for a charity shop taken and more bark mulching laid.

A wee trip to The Fishmarket in Newhaven was my reward. Pity it was such a grey day but that didn’t seem to stop the hoards of tour bus passengers descending onto the harbour for a trip out onto the equally grey sea.
