Christmas meal

Had a lovely slow start to the day. The boys got up at around 10.30 and we had Buck's fizz, warm croissants and pain au chocolat for a late breakfast.

After the present opening, we played the new xbox games, talked, sat around and generally relaxed until about 3 pm. We got going on our Christmas meal - carrot and cashew nut loaf and all the trimmings. Enjoyed cooking together and finally sat down for our meal at about 5.30 pm.

More lazing around then took place while we watched Dr Who. Son number one used his Christmas blowtorch to cook up a mean creme brulee later. This was followed by more sitting.

All in all, a great 'do nothing' Christmas day.
