Not Quite Five Gold Rings.

Nor, sadly, are there any partridges or pear trees!
There are still large piles of timber along the side of the path down the wood. When we came here some 25 years ago, these were already well grown trees and now they are all lined up waiting for the truck to take them to the bio-fuel plant.
Fortunately the rain stayed away this morning so we got out for a good stroll round the wood. Good way to burn off a calorie or two after all the feasting of the last two days.
P.S. No, I have not counted all these rings!
