Lovely weather for pigeons

Polly and I had a nice, sunny walk this morning and I'm glad we did it then rather than late afternoon as it's taken a turn for the worse, with heavy rain and a few rumbles of thunder. Not that this wood pigeon seemed to mind.

In other news, one week on and we're all adjusting to our new circumstances. Polly is still a little bewildered at times but generally doing okay, as far as I can tell. Mr DA is still working from home with his foot elevated. I accosted next door's gardener this morning and he's agreed to come and mow our lawn before the end of the week, which is one less thing to worry about.
