Standing out

Dad’s gravestone was put in place last Friday and today was the 1st chance I had to go and see it. Being a 4th child out of 5, in a family where we know our place (!), I felt a little of the weight of responsibility for it being correctly and nicely done, and I’m pleased.

It stands out because it’s a pale stone. Everybody else’s is dark.

It stands out because the bible verse engraved on it is Jesus centred.
