Icing rose

I have two friends who make superb cakes. This fell off the last one I got and ended up in the bottom of the cake tin. Now the cake is gone and this and a few crumbs is all that remains. I was amazed by the details on the rose. Even the underside that no one will see when it's on the cake has green sepals. It takes both cakemakers hours to decorate their cakes. They find it relaxing. Personally I haven't the patience but I appreciate their efforts.
