Strange vehicle

We left home very early this morning and headed east to a place called Udon Thani.   We have been here before.  The journey takes us over mountains and down country roads, it takes over 10 hours. The area is very rural and the local farmers drive some very strange looking vehicles.  I've always wanted to get a shot of one of these vehicles.  Hubby thinks that they might be home made.
