Thinking Pods

Met a friend up at the Parliament some quick headshots. Wasn't sure exactly what she was after so scoped a few location options first - lovely day made for bright sun and harsh shadows so was on the lookout for a place in the shade so she wouldn't have to squint into the sun. In the end it turned out she just wanted a very basic headshot with no real context so we took them in front of a wall which only those in the know might recognise as the Parliament. Football later was very good, even if it seemed for a long time that it would be another disappointing performance. We traded early goals but then the other lot pulled ahead - 8-4 and then 10-6 ahead. Personally I hadn't done very well up front but had finally got off the mark with a tap-in to an empty net. Finished off a good move with a better finish shortly after but we were still four goals down. But we kept plugging away and slowly got back into contention. I scored three more - one nutmegging the keeper and another snap shot on the turn into the far corner - as we took the lead and won by one goal in the end. Very pleasing!
