Alexandra from the Obelisk to the bridge

So much here to observe.

The Obelisk at 1682m above sea level seen high on the Old Woman Range.
The Alexandra Bridge in the town.

So much in between here.

Outdoor activities on the cycling tracks, water activities on the Clutha and Manuherikia Rivers, tramping, XC skiing, hunting, 4wheel driving,

The Maori and European history of the area is intriguing.

The Obelisk is in the Kopuwai Conservation Area. The sub-alpine area has unique birdlife, lizards, vegetation.
