St Michael's

Took my Christmas present - a new camera for an outing today. Unfortunately despite receiving 4 bags, I didn't receive a camera bag so the camera was placed all by its self in my (new) back pack and held very carefully for our entire walk around Linlithgow Loch. When I do purchase a camera bag I may also invest in a spare lens cap. Since I started Blipping I've gone through 4 camera cases for the compact camera one of these did fall victim to the dog, so I'm only responsible for the loss of 3! I really don't hold out much hope that I'll not lose a lens cap!

So only 231 pictures to choose between today not to mention the couple of hundred that were deleted straight from the camera - I think I took pictures of everything on at least 3 setting to compare and I've not gone near aperture or shutter speed - work tomorrow so I could come home with books on digital photography but don't expect any improvements anytime soon, I think the auto button could be on for some time to come!
