The heather & winter jasmine has been taking over more and more of my back step. I decided tonight to cut it back alittle & fill the rest of my bin for tomorrow.

I have bees under the heather so didn't want to disturb them, but don't really know whether it's better to cut during the day or at night. So haven't cut it right back just in case I disturb them.

It's obviously waterproof enough for them with the amount of rain we've had, but don't want cut back too much & they get drowned out with next deluge.
