Green zone...
We visited Gail in hospital this evening and she looked much better than when I saw her last Wednesday, albeit 10kg lighter! Sadly, she had had to present herself at hospital before her condition was recognised for what it was....severe dehydration due to nausea caused by a viral throat infection. She has had several long infusions of saline and is now much improved. Nothing to do with her recent cancer though, for which we are really grateful but proof that her immune system is still low.
This morning, A and I took Esmée into town to buy cards and goodies for her daddy’s birthday and Fathers Day. My first go at pushing her in the buggy and her first bus ride.
The rain today has been torrential and non-stop. Just awful! We drove through several areas of flooding this evening, and even now at 11.15pm, it sounds even heavier. June?
