Gem

After nursery we got the bus along to Davidsons Mains where we had a Costa then went to the barber. On the way home we dropped by Boots to get some hair gel as CyclopsJnr would like to wear his hair 'pokey'. Or as the barber described it 'like a hedgehog'.

At home we finally got on to playing with one of CyclopsJnr's birthday presents which he has been looking forward to. A gem mining kit. It contained a large block and some tools, and we had to 'mine' the block for gems. Our block had about ten gems in it. CyclopsJnr then enjoyed cleaning up the gems with his tiny brush followed by some water. The kit also included a bag to put the gems in, and a magnifying glass for inspecting them. It was fun.
