Condensed story

Played in a tennis tournament this morning. Mixed doubles. You played 4 games then switched partners for another 4 games. Then repeat with another couple. A revealing format which mostly revealed that I wasn’t playing well.

In the afternoon did some jobs. Chiselled some hinge rebates into the windows that I made some weeks ago and then left in the garage. Then looked at the compressor which I had got going a couple of weeks ago after some years of inactivity. But which then refused to start again. A bit of googling suggested that the start capacitor might be at fault and, sure enough, it seems to have blown. Ordered a replacement from eBay.
