Laughing Buddha Netsuke

I can't remember where I got this tiny little Japanese netsuke carving of the laughing mendicant Buddha, but it sits on my desk and cheers me up on a grey rainy day. It's about 3 cm tall.

I did venture out as far as the car to go into town to look at tiles for the new extension. Otherwise, it was a very grey cold day. Can't believe it didn't get above 9 degrees, in June!
