Loch Katrine and Inversnaid

Very wet morning and we made the decision not to venture out on another forest walk but to drive round to Stronachlachar to see if we could catch a glimpse of The Sir Walter Scott the steamship that sails on Loch Katrine.
We were lucky and managed to catch it calling into the pier at Stronachlachar.
A few passengers got off. Then we visited the very dog friendly cafe at the pier. It has good views from a lovely conservatory.
Drove from there to Inversnaid on the East side of Loch Lomond. The West Highland Way walkers passing through Inversnaid looked soggy! The waterfall above the hotel was in full spate and the midges were out too :-)
